Desmond Bane dropping 23 on 7-14 shooting with a clean 8-9 from the line is exactly what you want to see. He was +3.8 on scoring tonight and actually hit his season-long assists mark. This is the consistency that makes him a hold in leagues where he's 95% owned.
Paolo Banchero hit his spots (22/5/4) but didn't explode like you might've hoped. The rebounding dip (-3.6 vs avg) is a minor concern, but on a night where the Magic's defense was smothering, you're getting decent production from your All-NBA caliber star. Not flashy, but reliable.
The Nets' Young Guys Went Off... It Just Didn't Matter
