The Headlines

Paolo Banchero didn't just have a good night. He had a "why are we even playing the rest of the season" night. 50 Yahoo Fantasy Points against a Wizards defense that looked like it had given up on life is the kind of performance that makes you check the box score twice. The Magic absolutely tooled Washington 126-109, and Paolo was the main villain in this story.

Top Performers

  1. Paolo Banchero - 50 Yahoo FP (ORL). Went supernova and reminded everyone he's a top-5 fantasy asset when he's locked in.

  2. TBD - We're working with limited recaps here, but expect the full top-5 rankings to drop with the complete overnight slate.

  3. TBD - More games = more data. Check back for the full rundown.

The Disappointments

Washington's entire roster turned in a collective "ehhh" performance. Getting torched 126-109 at home doesn't scream fantasy gold for anyone wearing a Wizards jersey. Specifics on individual Wiz underperformers coming with full slate coverage.

Waiver Priority

Without the full slate box scores in front of us, the immediate add is whoever cracked serious minutes in Orlando's blowout win over Washington. Blowouts create opportunity for role players to get garbage time run. Scope the Magic's bench rotation and grab anyone who hit double-digit minutes.

Secondary priority: anybody who benefited from Washington's collapse. Blowout losses can be sneaky good for certain fantasy guys who still got their touches despite the L.

Sell High, Buy Low

Paolo Banchero is your poster child for sell-high right now if you've got depth at his position. Fifty fantasy points doesn't repeat every night. If you can flip him for multiple solid contributors or a more consistent scorer, do it. Don't get cute holding onto the peak.

On the flip side, Washington players are probably undervalued in the trade market after getting humiliated. If you believe they'll bounceback (and they will eventually), this is when to buy their stock low. One bad loss shouldn't crater a player's value permanently.

Quick Hits

  • The Magic looked locked in on both ends. Paolo's 50-spot didn't come out of nowhere. Orlando's offense is clicking.
  • Washington's defense got exposed hard. This feels like a bounce-back spot waiting to happen, which makes it worth monitoring their upcoming schedule.

Check back later for complete slate coverage with all five games fully boxed out. This is just the appetizer.
