The Headlines

Jalen Johnson just reminded everyone why he's been flying under the radar in fantasy circles. 45.4 Yahoo points against Brooklyn? That's not a one-off fluke anymore. He's putting up legitimate top-20 asset numbers and if he's still available in your league, you're leaving points on the table.

The real shocker though: Cason Wallace filled the stat sheet without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and helped OKC steal one from Cleveland. This wasn't a "the other guy stepped up" situation. This was a rookie putting the league on notice that he belongs in fantasy conversations.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokić dropped 87 Yahoo points on Golden State and the Warriors still won. That's the kind of mixed signal that makes fantasy brutal, but it also proves Jokić remains a must-have even when his team loses.

And Toronto just exposed Milwaukee without their stars, with Quickley and Jr leading the charge. That 28-point blowout? That's the kind of game that churns the waiver wire.

Top Performers

  1. Nikola Jokić (GSW loss, 87 Yahoo FP) - Demolished fantasy leagues. Doesn't matter that Denver lost.

  2. Jalen Johnson (ATL, 45.4 Yahoo FP) - The Hawks finally gave him run and he delivered a top-20 night. This is the breakout everyone missed.

  3. Cason Wallace (OKC, double-double) - Rookie put the league on notice. OKC winning without SGA is a blueprint for Wallace to eat.

  4. Quickley (TOR, led scoring vs MIL) - Torched the Bucks in a blowout. Volume is there when the game gets out of hand.

  5. Jr (TOR, co-star vs MIL) - Raptors exposed Milwaukee's depth issues and both these guys benefited. The gap between their production with/without stars is massive.

The Disappointments

Honestly, this is where it gets weird. Jokić put up 87 and Denver still lost. That's not really a bust for his managers, but it's a gut punch. He did his job. The problem is your league probably has someone who trusted the Nuggets to win and got nothing in return despite their star going nuclear.

The Bucks getting demolished without their rotation pieces is a bigger story than individual busts. The whole team got exposed.

Waiver Priority

  1. Cason Wallace - Urgency level: NOW. A rookie showing out in a win without your star? That's rotation lock potential. Grab him before your league catches up.

  2. Jalen Johnson - High urgency. 45.4 points isn't noise. If he's still on waivers, someone made a mistake.

  3. Quickley - Medium-high. He had a monster night but it came in a 28-point blowout. Still, when he's featured he produces. Worth stashing if you have the bench space.

  4. Jr - Medium. Same logic as Quickley but slightly less urgent.

Sell High, Buy Low

Jalen Johnson is your sell-high target if you can flip him to a desperate team. One monster game gets overvalued. Lock in value now.

Cason Wallace is the buy-low. Everyone's sleeping on him because he's a rookie. His usage is real and OKC's offense runs through multiple guys.

Jokić isn't a sell despite the loss. 87 points is Jokić doing Jokić things. Any panic seller is making a mistake. If someone in your league wants to sell low after this game, pounce on it.

Trending Down

Milwaukee's entire bench rotation just took a hit. Get off anyone who isn't their stars.

The Bucks got torched 122-94. That's not a fluke loss, that's a depth problem. Fade their secondary options.
